Web Design my approach: simplicity, function, focus SIMPLICITY - A simple web page makes it easier for the visitor to know what is going on, makes it easier for the webmaster to make changes to the site, and keeps the visitor from getting "lost" among a complex array of links, text, and images. FUNCTION - Frequently, visitors are thoroughly impressed by the look of a site, and leave thinking "wow, what a pretty site." While the appearance of a site is vital to maintain a professional, up-to-date feeling, function should always lead the way. FOCUS - My experience and numerous marketing tests have shown that pages with one defined purpose convert better than pages with a myriad of different paths. As the addage goes, Keep It Simple Stupid. check out my portfolio>> |
